VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY -- OUR COMMITTEES

Building Committee

Our Building Committee can use volunteers with the following specialities/qualifications: realtors, surveyors, architects, people who know building codes, carpenters, concrete workers, plumbers, electricians, utility people, and building supply people.

Family Support Committee

The Family Support Committee is looking for people with good social/people skills to partner with our new families to assist them during the process of becoming a homeowner.

Resource Development Committee

If you are a person with an interest in marketing, fundraising, event planning, grant writing, etc., the Resource Development Committee welcomes you to join them in helping our affiliate meet the fiscal needs to continue our mission.

Family Selection Committee

The Family Selection Committtee is responsible for the interviews and review of families seeking homeownership.

Public Relations Committee

The Public Relations Committee is responsible for getting our message to the public -- working to make the community aware of who we are and what we are doing.

Church Relations Committee

This committee is made up of representatives from many local churches. The members serve as a liaison between Habitat and their church to help the church partner with us through volunteers, prayers, and financial support.
