Get Involved!
Habitat for Humanity offers a wide variety of ways that you can become involved and make a difference in our community and in the lives of our future homeowners. Please contact Michelle Davis, Volunteer Coordinator, by calling (479) 575-9696 or via email ~ michelle@habitat.arcoxmail.com ~ if you are interested in volunteering for any of these opportunities.
Construction of Homes
Volunteers who have a desire to help construct a new home are always welcome throughout the week and Saturday mornings. Construction knowledge is not required; just a desire to learn and help. We partner with corporate teams, churches, and individuals who want to make a difference in our community.
Deconstruction of Homes
Deconstruction involves systematically dismantling partial or entire residential buildings. Our deconstruction crews recover the reusable materials from these structures and then sells these materials in our Habitat ReStore. The mission is to divert demolition and remodeling materials from the waste stream into Habitat ReStore's inventory, thus providing the community with affordable building materials which in turn supports the mission of Habitat for Humanity.
ReStore
Our ReStore is always looking for people to help with all aspects of keeping the store well stocked, looking good, and operating efficiently. We especially need volunteers who have retail experience, a nack for decorating, hardware and lumber knowledge, and are customer service oriented.
